Microgaming has been one of the biggest online gaming software providers for a number of years now. They actually started out in the casino industry but it’s been a pretty seamless transition for them to move into the world of mobile bingo games.
In the relatively short timeframe that they been involved with online bingo, the company have made big strides and now they are about as established as anyone when it comes to software development. What we’ve noticed is that a greater number of online bingo halls are starting to integrate their software, just for use on mobile. There are few companies as big as 32Red in the industry and their affiliation with Microgaming speaks volumes.
As you can imagine, there’s only so far you can really go with bingo games, as it’s a solitary game type. But Microgaming has been clever by introducing branded bingo games to their portfolio. Their biggest and most successful format comes from that of 90-ball bingo, where you get just that, 90-balls and the game ticks along as you mark off your card (although this is done automatically).
The limits in which you can play will vary depending on the mobile bingo site, but Microgaming do promote that their games can range from a very low level of just 5p a game with the ability to go up to unlimited amounts on the higher end of the scale.
They provide games that are going to be favourable for the longevity of a bingo player, creating three pay lines. The first is a horizontal line fill, which includes 5 numbers. The second is a two-line fill matching 10 numbers and the final one is, of course, a full house, filling the card with all 15 numbers.
As well as bingo games, Microgaming of course provide you with a solid number side games that include slots, table games, video poker and more, all of which can be accessed by their mobile platform. The range of slots they have on offer is staggering, with well over 200 titles. Each game provides a really good Return To Player (RTP) percentage as well, with some such as All Aces Poker, hitting 99.92%.
Microgaming have been about since 1994 and they initially got heavily involved with the online casino industry. They made some of the more innovative games of those times and since then have built up one of the biggest and best reputations for software developers in the industry.
It was around 10 years after their insertion where they decide to take up the mantle of design products for online bingo sites. With a brand already established, they had very little trouble breaking into this relatively new part of the online gambling.
Interestingly, it was around the same time that they really got a foot hold of mobile products and whilst bingo didn’t come for a few years after this, their mobile casino were, and still are, some of the most highly thought of in the industry.
Going forward, we can only expect Microgaming to keep improving their product line for mobile bingo players. Whilst there are a lot more limitations when it comes to bingo games, due to the nature of the game, you can be sure that Microgaming will be working hard to create a new bread of games, ready to be released in the not so distant future.
